“Iron sharpens iron, so one [wo]man sharpens another.”

- Proverbs 27:17

The MomCo at Calvary Smithville is a Texas 501(c)3 non-profit organization geared towards serving the moms and families of Smithville, TX and its surrounding areas. Motherhood is a journey best traveled together. We aim to uplift and empower one another through faith, friendship, and fellowship. Here, you’ll find a community that encourages your growth, supports your heart, and strengthens your family—because no mom should walk alone.

Momma, We’ve Got You!

Here’s a look at we do at the MomCo at Calvary Smithville.

Monthly Meetings (with childcare)

Join us the first Tuesday of every month from 10 AM - 12 PM where we will meet, enjoy brunch, and go through an activity, craft, or game together, all while your kiddos are taken care of by our thoroughly-vetted childcare volunteers.

Playdates for All-Ages

Every month, we plan 2 playdates, one specifically geared towards younger children, and the other geared towards all-ages, so that the entire family has the opportunity to meet and engage in the group, grow friendships, and make long-lasting memories.

Mom’s Night Outs & Coffee/Hike Meets

Moms need breaks too - that’s why we offer 2 opportunities each month to get away from the kiddos (if possible) and connect with one another at either the Mom’s Night Out or Mom’s Morning Coffee or Hiking Meet up!

Who We Are

Hey there! Thanks so much for being here. We’re a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and registered group with the MomCo International. We’re based out of Calvary Baptist Church in Smithville, TX, where we host many of our events. We’re a group of mommas aiming to uplift and empower one another through faith, friendship, and fellowship. We believe that motherhood should not ever be gone through alone. This is why we plan many different types of events, playdates, community outreach events, coffee or hiking meetups, and more, so that we can reach as many local moms and families as we can.

If you choose to register to become a member, or support our group via donation, please know that all dues and proceeds graciously donated to us go towards the following (and more):

  • Scholarships awarded to those mommas who need the community support, but cannot afford membership.

  • Brunch for our monthly meetings so mommas can have a warm meal and fellowship with others.

  • Gifts/prizes for our monthly raffle giveaways so that all mommas can walk away with a little love gift each year.

  • Childcare background checks so that moms can feel comfortable knowing their children are cared for.

  • The ability to spontaneously bless a mom or family in need.
